Afterschool: If your child will be absent, please email us as soon as possible so we know they won’t be attending. Make-up days may be scheduled within two weeks of the absence, subject to availability.
Camp: Camp registrations reserve your child’s space and allow us to plan staffing and supplies in advance, so camp tuition is non-refundable and missed camp days cannot be made up or credited.

Yes. We understand that families’ childcare needs can change throughout the year. Occasional attendance and short-term enrollment may be available when space permits. Contact us to discuss your needs, and we’ll be happy to let you know what options are available.

Whenever possible, yes! We understand that schedules change. If you’d like to add or change days, just reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate your family’s needs based on availability.

Absolutely! New students are welcome to join throughout the school year whenever space is available. We’d love to welcome your family whenever the timing is right.

Afterschool tuition is billed in 10 equal monthly installments from September through June. Rather than varying each month based on the number of school days, tuition is calculated using the total number of program days for the school year and divided into equal monthly payments, making budgeting simple and predictable for families.

Yes! Throughout the school year, we host student art exhibitions where families are invited to celebrate their children’s creativity. It’s one of our favorite traditions and a wonderful opportunity for young artists to proudly share their work with family and friends.

Kids Art Classes, Afterschool Programs, Camps, and Portfolio Prep in Bay Ridge
Brooklyn Art House offers creative programs for kids in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, including afterschool enrichment, school break camps, art classes, and middle school portfolio prep. Our programs are designed to give children a safe, welcoming place to create, play, learn, and connect with friends while giving parents dependable care they can trust.
Our Afterschool Art & Enrichment Program gives students in grades K–5 a creative and supportive place to spend the afternoon after school. Each day includes hands-on art projects, homework assistance, outdoor play, games, healthy snacks, and time to unwind with friends. School pickup is available from select local schools, making afterschool care easier for Bay Ridge families.
When school is closed, Brooklyn Art House Art Camps offer full-day creative care filled with painting, drawing, crafts, group activities, outdoor play, and opportunities for kids to explore new ideas. Camps are a great option for school holidays, winter break, midwinter break, spring break, and other days off from school.
For older students, our Middle School Art Portfolio Preparation Program helps aspiring young artists build confidence, strengthen drawing and design skills, and develop original artwork for specialized art middle school applications. Students receive individualized guidance in a supportive studio environment.
